ARRIVALS>SLOVENIA features artists, Miha Horvat and Metka
Golec, who have worked together under the name son:DA since 2000.
Their images use a computer mouse as a drawing tool and their drawings
of everyday electrical equipment have a cartoon-like appearance.
son:DA's work is a critique of the technological age, suggesting
that improved techniques to communication and greater levels of
information do not mean we relate to one another in a more meaningful
way.
The artists will be in conversation with Gregor Podnar of the
Galerija Gregor Podnar on 30 June at 6pm.
